This quarter, Light House teams up with the Vancouver Regional Construction Association to focus on the hot issues facing the construction sector in 2009. We have invited a special panel to discuss the platforms of BC's political parties as they relate to construction particularly within the context of the current economic climate. Specifically, we will hear about polices affecting the green building industry. Join us to hear what policies are proposed or in the pipeline, and how they support industry growth, job creation and the adoption of green practices in building and construction.
Our panel includes: Shane Simpson, Environment Critic for the NDP; Damian Kettlewell, Deputy Leader of the Green Party; Marc McPherson, Department Head for Natural Stone Flooring and Landscaping at BuildDirect.com representing the BC Conservatives; and Keith Sashaw, President of Vancouver Regional Construction Association.
